The Alberta RCMP confirmed that human remains discovered by Rocky View County firefighters on April 3 were those of 33-year-old Kyle Schuiling, a resident of Calgary.

An autopsy was completed at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Calgary on April 4. Police are treating the death as a homicide.
