ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Legal Newsline) - A Virginia law firm has gone to court to enforce an arbitration award in a dispute worth at least $7 million dollars from a former client.

Four non-equity partners gave their notice Thursday at Clare Locke, a boutique firm of 17 lawyers that was co-counsel to Dominion Voting Systems Inc. in a landmark $787.5 million defamation settlement this year.

Maker of ice cream machine fix says quick-service giant destroyed its business

A California company behind technology that fixes McDonald's oft-broken ice cream, milkshake and McFlurry machines hit the fast food giant known for "billions and billions served" with a complaint in Delaware federal court seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages, alleging that the company spread lies about its tech being dangerous.

Six months ago, a startup called Kytch sued Taylor, the manufacturer of Mcdonald's infamously broken ice cream machines. According to updates made to Kytch's legal complaint, Taylor attempted to copy a repair device made by the company to help the McDonald's ice cream flow, sabotaging Kytch's business in the process.

Is corporate espionage involved?

The ice cream machine, made by Taylor Company, is known for making the fast-food giant's popular McFlurry dessert.
