It’s not always the journey, but the destination in the end that can make a difference. For a group of Historically Black College and University (HBCU) alum, that landing place happens to be the island of Barbados for the inaugural FABA Festival, a festival that champions Black culture like never before.

The Culinary Capital of the Caribbean recently played host to an inaugural festival celebrating the HBCU Experience.

For Alumni, By Alumni--This is theme for FABA Fest, created to celebrate the graduates of esteemed HBCUs across the country.

Area residents turned out in droves for the 2023 Second Annual Missouri City Freedom Walk Saturday.

All roads lead to Barbados this Juneteenth weekend as they host and introduce the FABA Festival, a celebration of HBCU culture that's "For Alumni, By Alumni."
