During the hills three-week closure, the city says its crews rebuilt the most eroded sections of shoulder with wire cages filled with rocks to provide a safer wider walking path.

Terrace city council has approved remediation work for the road on Lanfear Hill. The gravel shoulder has been closed to pedestrians and cyclists since March 16th due to the deterioration. A geotechnical report was submitted during yesterday’s council meeting, outlining several options for remediation.
