Langdon School News Today

The "Youth Safer Communities" report published by Chestermere-based Synergy finds ways to make youth safer in their communities.

RVS administration said the new configuration means the new school in Langdon would start quite underutilized between 30 and 50 per cent, but stated it will grow as the community grows.

Rocky View Schools (RVS) is hosting a second public consultation and online engagement to assist in formally deciding the grade configuration and attendance area of its new school in Langdon, which is set to open in September 2024.

This annual celebration, which has been a beloved tradition since 1945, will take place in the hamlet from July 21 to 23, offering a wide array of activities and entertainment for attendees of all ages.

Skaters who access Langdon's local skatepark now have the chance to ride the waves or drop into the mouth of a man-eating shark (metaphorically, of course).

The proposed changes presented to the trustees last week would see the new school as a conjoined junior and high school, with classes ranging from grades 7 to 12.

The school is set to open in September 2024 and has been planned as a junior-senior high school.
