ST. LOUIS -- Facing the eighth-ranked Missouri Baptist Spartans for the second time this season, William Woods found a much better rhythm throughout the match.

FULTON -- In their final home match this season, the William Woods Owls swept the Cottey Comets for the second time in six days, advancing to their eighth straight American Midwest Conference Championship semifinal.

ST. LOUIS -- After a slow start in the first set, William Woods (22-8, 5-3 AMC) blasted past UHSP (4-25, 2-6 AMC) 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-13) on Thursday night, including a span of 19 straight points across the second and third sets.

FULTON -- William Woods (21-8, 4-3 AMC) sent its senior class out in style on Friday night, sweeping past Central Baptist College (11-10, 2-3 AMC) 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-16) to close out the home portion of the regular season.

FULTON -- The William Woods volleyball team took two out of three matches at the William Woods Midseason Quad last Friday and Saturday.
