Mea Culpa A (Ridge Warren) charged late to capture the $21,918 Open Handicap Pace at Tioga Downs on Sunday (May 5).

Lanjo Lee posted Saratoga Raceway's fastest mile of the season when the classy five-year-old So Surreal gelding won the $20,548 Open Handicap Pace on Saturday, April 27.

Heaven On High N (Rock N Roll Heaven) prevailed in his Saratoga Casino Hotel debut on Saturday night.

A sloppy track combined with heavy snow that started to fall after the third race provided some messy going at Batavia Downs on Thursday afternoon (Jan. 11), but it didn’t take away from competitive racing and several very close finishes. 

The 2024 winter meet kicked off at Batavia Downs on Thursday (Jan. 4) and the wagering success the track realized last year picked up right where it left off as a new single card handle record was set during opening day. Betting from all sources totalled $390,922 and that easily topped the old record of $348,205 set last February.

After bouncing back from an untimely break last week and despite a jump in class for this start, Johnny Boy got back in the win column by taking the $15,000 Open I Handicap trotting feature at Batavia Downs on Saturday, Nov. 25.

Dave McNeight III had a huge night at Batavia Downs on Saturday, Oct. 14 as he won five races during the evening.

Fifteen races kicked off the weekend card at Saratoga Casino Hotel on Saturday (June 10) evening with three divisions of the New York Sire Stakes for three-year-old filly pacers contested. 

Lanjo Lee stepped up into the $17,000 Open Pace and scored at Saratoga Casino Hotel on Saturday night (June 3).

Natameri exploded to win the featured $8,500 Open 1 Pace at Vernon Downs on Saturday (May 13).
