Mazda is continuing its push into the large premium SUV space with the release of the six- or seven-seat CX-80, scheduled for local launch before the end of this year and effectively replacing the CX-8.

Mazda has revealed the long awaited fifth and last model of its new CX range of SUVs, the three-row European-market focused CX-80.

The seven-seat CX-80 will be the largest Mazda SUV and come with ‘superior technology’

Replacing the CX-8, the 2024 Mazda CX-80 will be a larger alternative to the CX-60 and will only launch in Europe, Australia, and some parts of Asia

The fourth part of Mazda’s Large Architecture platform quartet will be revealed within a week, with a teaser image of the CX-80 large SUV joining additional confirmation the model will come to Australia.

The SUV will be available in six- and seven-seater configurations, stretching to almost 5 m (196.9 inches) long
