Work can now progress on a major housing development after an agreement was reached between the developer and the main group opposed to the proposals on environmental grounds.

Kerry County Council have been given the green light to carry out repair works to the Laune Bridge consisting of vegetation clearance, masonry repointing, grouting of piers, grouting of foundations and replacement of scour protection.
