SAN DIEGO  —  A 42-year-old man was shot and killed late Wednesday in Encanto and homicide investigators are looking into whether the killing is related to the fatal shooting of another man that occurred two months ago in the same area. Police first learned of the shooting about 10:35 p.m. when they received an an alert from the ShotSpotter gunshot detection system of audio sensors.
