Councillors have issued support for Bellway’s plans for 244 houses in Croft and Winwick, as well as Richborough Estates outline application for 110 homes in Hollins Green.

Bellway is expecting the go-ahead for its plans to build a total of 244 houses across two schemes in Croft and Winwick, with Richborough Estates’ 110-home development in Hollins Green also set for the green light.

Bellway can start work as soon as possible on the second phase of its plans for the former site of Tanyard Farm off Rushgreen Road in Warrington, following the council’s approval.

A 102,700 sq ft warehouse off Viking Way has secured a green light, as has plans for 188 homes at Maylands Park.

Housebuilders continue to flock to the city’s allocated growth areas, with Redrow and a Taylor Wimpey and Bloor Homes JV expecting to secure approvals.
