History in the town of Shaftsbury is being preserved online one gravestone at a time. Burial records have been digitized by just a single person in the cemetery department for a year and a half.

The website for the Town of Shaftsbury now has search and database features which make it easy to search the town cemeteries for a name and find a grave. the Shaftsbury Select Board revealed at their monthly meeting on Monday.
