North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) has been made aware of 10 new COVID-19 cases in the district since last reporting period on 3/1/2021: 3-Antelope, 0-Boyd, 0- Brown, 1-Cherry, 1-Holt, 0-Keya Paha, 2-Knox, 3-Pierce, 0-Rock. NCDHD still encourages district residents to continue to wear your mask in public places or where social distancing is difficult as well as practice social distancing while out in public. NCDHD is pleased to report 164 recoveries since last reporting on 2/25/2021: Antelope – 28, Boyd – 4, Brown – 15, Cherry – 13, Holt – 28, Keya Paha – 5, Knox – 47, Pierce – 14, Rock – 10. NCDHD is pleased to report that COVID-19 vaccination clinics are resuming as shipments are again starting to arrive to the office. NCDHD continues to call registered residents as soon as we know we will have vaccine to dispense.

For a smooth flow of clinic traffic for those attending clinics in O’Neill attendees should enter the clinic through the alley South of the Armory. · O’Neill: Monday and Wednesday from 8:30-10:30am at the O’Neill Armory. To provide guidance and clarity, below are directions on who should register on the Nebraska COVID-19 Registry: For those 65+ who already registered with NCDHD,  do not sign up with the State. NCDHD will continue to schedule your vaccine. If you are 65+ and did not sign up with NCDHD, please sign up on the new Nebraska registry, located at www.ncdhd.ne.gov.

NCDHD regrets to report the COVID-19 death of a Knox County woman in her 90s. NCDHD sends its sincerest condolences to the family. The NCDHD Test Nebraska COVID-19 clinic in Bassett will be canceled this Tuesday, January 26 th due to weather concerns. NCDHD transitioned into Phase1B to provide COVID-19 vaccine to individuals 75 years and older. If you believe you qualify for Phase 1A but were not vaccinated, please visit the NCDHD webpage and sign up on the appropriate survey. Visit the NCDHD website for sign-ups for individuals 75+, businesses in Phases 1B, and a survey for individuals in the general public who can receive a vaccine at a moment’s notice. If you have already received a vaccine and are unable to attend the second dose clinic, please visit the NCDHD website and place your information on the second dose survey.
