Nebraska Library Commission awards $37,000+ in grants to 39 libraries across the state

NCDHD COVID Update 3/04/2021

North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) has been made aware of 10 new COVID-19 cases in the district since last reporting period on 3/1/2021: 3-Antelope, 0-Boyd, 0- Brown, 1-Cherry, 1-Holt, 0-Keya Paha, 2-Knox, 3-Pierce, 0-Rock. NCDHD still encourages district residents to continue to wear your mask in public places or where social distancing is difficult as well as practice social distancing while out in public. NCDHD is pleased to report 164 recoveries since last reporting on 2/25/2021: Antelope – 28, Boyd – 4, Brown – 15, Cherry – 13, Holt – 28, Keya Paha – 5, Knox – 47, Pierce – 14, Rock – 10. NCDHD is pleased to report that COVID-19 vaccination clinics are resuming as shipments are again starting to arrive to the office. NCDHD continues to call registered residents as soon as we know we will have vaccine to dispense.

NCDHD’s TestNe COVID-19 testing times and locations starting the week of 2/8/2021 have changed. For a smooth flow of clinic traffic for those attending clinics in O’Neill attendees should enter the clinic through the alley South of the Armory. · O’Neill: Monday and Wednesday from 8:30-10:30am at the O’Neill Armory. Please enter the clinic through the alley South of the Armory. · Bassett: Mondays 1:00-3:00pm at the Rock County Fairgrounds

NCDHD reports 122 new recoveries since last reporting period. 22-Antelope, 4-Boyd, 9-Brown, 9-Cherry, 14-Holt, 1-Keya Paha, 22-Knox, 37-Pierce, 4-Rock. NCDHD regrets to report two additional deaths in the district. A female from Knox County and a male from Pierce County. NCDHD sends their sincerest condolences to these families.
