On the 86th edition of Mann ki Baat, PM Modi praised Tanzanian siblings Kili and Neema Paul and thanked them for paying tribute to legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and singing the national anthem in their lip-syncing videos.

“Festivals are approaching with Shivratri, Holi in the pipeline...I urge everyone to abide by 'Vocal for Local' and celebrate festivals by purchasing from local markets. Celebrate these festivals with fervour but don't forget to stay cautious too," said PM Modi. 

During the monthly ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme, PM Modi hailed the efforts taken by Tanzanian TikTokers Kili and Neema, who lip synced to Indian songs, and also paid tribute to late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.
