Axiata Group announced Wednesday that it will restructure its Indonesian subsidiaries XL Axiata and Link Net to better take advantage of growing demand for fixed broadband and fixed mobile convergence (FMC) services.

XL Axiata outlined plans to consolidate its business following the purchase of broadband and cable-TV provider Link Net last year, forging a non-binding agreement to transfer the subsidiary’s business, making the operator the second-largest broadband provider in Indonesia.
