The second-round election for officers of the Shreveport NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) Chapter resulted in a new president. Michael R. LaFitte II is the new winner with 80 votes in this second-round election. Rev. Calvin Austin, the winner in the first election, had 66 votes and Rev.
