The Linux Mint team is testing the ISO image of LMDE 6, its Debian-based operating system. Hopefully, it should not be too long until it passes the tests and is made available for public consumption.

Linux Mint 21.2 is now ready to download from official mirrors. An official announcement hasn't been made in the blog yet but the What's New page and download links are already live.

Linux Mint 21.2 ISOs are undergoing final testing. There will be three editions, Cinnamon, MATE, and Xfce. According to the team, plenty of bugs have been found and fixed during the beta period.

The beta release of Linux Mint 21 will arrive next week according to the project's leader. He said that a decision had also been made to exclude the systemd-oom package due to negative feedback.

Linux Mint 20.3 has been approved for final release with an announcement due later this week. People running older Linux Mint 20.x versions should be able to upgrade this week too.

The Linux Mint team is currently testing the beta ISO for Linux Mint 20.3. The beta period will last a few weeks before Linux Mint 20.3 is made available for everyone as a download and upgrade.
