Developing strong processes to minimize unneeded delays in projects that cost tax payers more money is a priority for me. Our fire chief has indicated the town needs to improve response times to meet the needs of our growing community. Options provided the Select Board for the Route 20 Fire Station include an all-in approach, or a phased approach. Chief Whalen told the Board at their Jan. 26 meeting that a phased approach is more expensive. Notwithstanding this fact, Select Board members unequivocally instructed Chief Whalen to prepare the warrant article, due three days later, for the fire station in a phased approach.

Letter to the editor: Go Lisa for Sudbury
Lisa Kouchakdjian
It is with such great joy that I announce my candidacy for Sudbury Select Board. In March, I will celebrate living in Sudbury for 23 years. Public service has always been, and continues to be, a passion of mine. My advocacy work often gives me the opportunity to leverage the skills I acquired through my experience as an attorney. For the last almost six years it has been my honor to serve our community on the Sudbury School Committee.
During my tenure on the School Committee, I served as chair for over two years. I acquired significant skills that I believe are transferable to the Select Board.
