The coast guard is been bringing up residence in buckets, people who could no longer risk staying in their homes. The rescue effort by boat is massive as summer volunteers who wanted to use their boats. Several people needed to be rescued. I dont know where to go. Water rushed into a nursing home but everyone was brought to safety. Houston residence are used to rain and hurricanes but nothing like this. We spoke by phone with lindsay hendry from fox 26 who spent much of the day driving. Earlier, i saw somebody pushing a shopping cart with the baby in it. They are obviously looking for Higher Ground and going through water. I see other sites as well. It included pets scared and wet. I heard there could be more water coming. In galveston, 50 miles from houston, so many people had to evacuate it needed a temporary shelter at the airport.
