FIRE crews tackled a blaze for three hours at Halbeath after a summer house set alight. Alistair Wood alerted the emergency services when a neighbour saw smoke billowing out of the roof of the building in his garden at Long Row around 4.15pm last Wednesday. FIRE crews have rushed to Halbeath to deal with a blaze at a shed. The building thats alight is in Long Row, north of the level crossing and off Kingseat Road. Local resident Mark Sherry called the Press and said: "I live in Halbeath village itself and just happened to look out the window.
