Ruth Ann Nurnberger, 82 of Staples, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 31, 2023, at Park Rapids Hospital after a short illness. Funeral Services are Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples with a visitation starting at 9:30am at the Church.

Kenneth “Kenner” Floyd Leslie was born on May 9, 1936, in Staples, MN at home to Walter and Alice (Peterson) Leslie. Kenner attended and graduated from Staples High School. He loved sports from a young age and joined every sports team he could throughout his school years. Following his schooling, Kenner worked in the Iron Range in Hibbing, MN before marrying the love of his life.
