Five new water shuttle routes between Montreal and the South Shore are opening this summer under a new pilot project, the Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) says.
Those planning on driving in and around Montreal on the weekend should be aware that, in addition to multiple construction sites within the city roads network, there will be major closures at the Saint-Pierre Interchange, Highway 30 Interchange and on the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge.
Those driving to the South Shore this weekend will need to avoid the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel on Highway 25, as well as the Saint-Pierre Interchange, as roadwork is scheduled.
After the province s health ministry accidentally tweeted a link to a pornographic video last week, another Government of Quebec website redirected members of the public to another questionable website for the second time in four days.
Major work on Highway 25 in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel towards the South Shore this weekend means drivers in the east should expect heavy traffic on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge approaches in Montreal.
