pic Ten. As it turns out, she’s been inspired by Apple and her music since her teenage days. Through Apple’s music, Van Etten found the inspiration and drive to become a better musician and writer.
“The emotional rawness and visceral angst and honesty of Fiona Apple’s music was first met by my teenage years,” Van Etten says on Instagram. “Sharing a bedroom with my little sister–who so patiently studied for school–as I tried to write, sing, and play guitar in a way I wasn’t ready for yet. Fiona made me want to be a better player. She made me want to have something to say. Although music has always been an important outlet for me, I knew I hadn’t lived like she had. Having no concept of age, I heard her voice as experienced and wise and someone that I wanted to be or to know. I carried her with me.”

Epic. Apple’s version of the tune brings in more percussion but stays fairly true to the original.
Van Etten previously teased the cover on Twitter, writing, “‘Love More’ is the last track from
Epic, and I’m so honored to have Fiona Apple’s version of it coming out this Thursday.”

South Korean boy band Day6 is gearing up to release its new EP.
ADVERTISEMENT The K-pop group shared a track list Thursday for the mini album The Book of Us: Negentropy - Chaos swallowed up in love.
The Book of Us: Negentropy will feature the title track You Make Me, and six other songs: Every Day We Fight, Healer, Not Two but One, Above the Clouds, One and Let s Love More.
Day6 shared a comeback film for the EP on Monday that confirmed all five members, Jae, Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon, will be part of the new mini album.
