LRT service was suspended Tuesday after a Valley Line Southeast train heading north 'made contact' with a pedestrian near the Bonnie Doon stop.

The collision on the Valley Line LRT happened north of Bonnie Doon Mall where the Valley Line crosses Connors Road in south Edmonton.

TransEd said right turns from 83 Street onto 90 Avenue have been illegal ever since the Connors Road traffic circle was replaced as part of Valley Line LRT construction.
