An 11-year-old boy from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, will stand trial for allegedly shooting his mother in the face after she refused to buy him a virtual reality headset.

The minor allegedly shot Quiana Mann in the eye after she reportedly told him that he couldn’t buy the device.

Forty-four-year-old Quiana Mann died after her son shot her in the face at their home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin over a virtual reality headset.

The 10-year-old boys aunt called the cops the next day to report the boy had admitted to aiming at his mother and shot her in close range, which he later confirmed to police.

Lueritha Mann said the 10-year-old boy, who has not been publicly named, hears imaginary voices who tell him to do bad things and has trouble sleeping.
