Trompo re-opened its location on Jefferson Boulevard in Dallas Jan. 14 after a GoFundMe campaign raised more than $20,000.

After a 10-day lockout and a GoFundMe campaign, the restaurant is back open, and by Friday, will be paid up on its debts.

Trompo owner Luis Olvera said in an Instagram video that his landlord locked the restaurant in the 300 block of Jefferson Boulevard last Wednesday.

Trompo has had a hard time finding its forever home. But before closing this last time, owner Luis Olvera is giving a GoFundMe campaign a try.

The beloved taquería had bounced around Dallas, from one address to another, since receiving national accolades in 2016.
