Bulldog baseball travels to Lexington for a weekend series with the Kentucky Wildcats.

The No. 4 seeded Hilltoppers will face off against No. 1 seeded Dallas Baptist in the semifinals of the Conference USA Championship beginning at 12:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, May 27 at Reckling Park in Houston, Texas.

No. 4 WKU Baseball defeated No. 5 seed Florida Atlantic, 10-9, in the first round of the C-USA Championship on Wednesday night at Reckling Park.

Freshman infielder Lukas Farris was named to the All-Freshman Team while freshman RHP Dawson Hall was named to the All-Conference Second Team and All-Freshman Team.

Due to inclement weather, WKU Baseball and No. 17 Dallas Baptist will resume play tomorrow, with the score being 7-5, in the top of the sixth inning in favor of the Patriots.

WKU Baseball defeated No. 14 Dallas Baptist, 11-7, in the series opener on Thursday night at Horner Ballpark.

WKU Baseball defeated Rice, 5-4, in extra innings to secure the series opener victory on Friday night at Nick Denes Field.

WKU Baseball defeated FIU, 7-2, to even the series on Saturday evening at the FIU Baseball Stadium.

The Hilltoppers have now won eight of their last nine conference games for the first time since 2009 and have swept their second consecutive conference series for the first time since 2010, both as a member of the Sun Belt Conference.
