California Lady Pintos volleyball bested the Osage Lady Indians Thursday for a senior night victory.

Back and forth from start to finish. The Capital City Lady Cavaliers beat the California Lady Pintos 25-22, 25-23, 23-25, 25-23 on Tuesday at Capital City High School to claim the Lady Cavaliers’ first program win against California. The Lady Pintos were 6-0-1 all-time against Capital City before the match.

The California Lady Pintos volleyball team played in a rivalry game Thursday night against the Blair Oaks Lady Falcons.

WARDSVILLE — For the Blair Oaks Lady Falcons, the road to a Tri-County Conference volleyball championship has had to go through the California Lady Pintos for the past several seasons. After Thursday night, that road to a title became much shorter.

California Lady Pintos volleyball took a road trip Thursday night to go toe-to-toe with a conference and district rival, the Eldon Lady Mustangs.

California Lady Pintos volleyball began a new season Aug. 29 in a matchup at home against the Father Tolton Catholic Lady Trailblazers. Although they were down at different points in each set, the Lady Pintos swept the match 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-22).

After a long summer of workouts, camps and tournaments, California Lady Pintos volleyball began a new season with two exhibition matches at the Columbia-Battle Volleyball Jamboree between the Fatima Lady Comets and Battles Lady Spartans.

California High School Lady Pintos volleyball competed from July 18 to July 19 at the Licking Summer Camp at the LINC in Jefferson City in preparation for the 2023 season.

Seniors said their final goodbyes to the California Future Farmers of America (FFA) organization.
