Mack Howell was convicted in August 2016 of an armed robbery of an Eastpointe 7-Eleven and was sentenced to 25 to 50 years. It was basically a life sentence for his age.

Mack Howell has every right to be emotional after the seven and a half years he spent in prison for a crime he didn’t commit.

It’s been a long road for Mack Howell, who the Macomb County prosecutor said was wrongly convicted of robbing a 7-Eleven in Eastpointe in April 2014. He went to prison in 2016.
