MEDIA – A former Yeadon Borough councilwoman has sued the Borough’s current leadership, alleging that the defendants repeatedly defamed her in both public and private settings, causing harm to her reputation and standing in the community.

PHILADELPHIA – The Borough of Colwyn is ready to defend itself from litigation brought by a Delaware County man, who alleged that a member of the Colwyn Police Department – after unsuccessfully attempting to sanction him with a trio of motor vehicle tickets – later arrested him on fabricated charges of marijuana possession and disorderly conduct.

ALLENTOWN – Lancaster County has been dismissed from litigation asserting that its district attorney and police officers conducted warrantless raids of businesses selling vape products last April, raids which those proprietors contend were illegal and contradictory to state laws currently on the books.

PHILADELPHIA – A plaintiff who initially alleged civil rights violations, discrimination and retaliation were committed against him in violation of both state and federal laws, including a claim that he was terminated from his role at the Internal Revenue Service because of unlawful retaliation by Lower Frederick Township and its Chief of Police, has tentatively settled his claims.

ALLENTOWN – Lancaster County, its district attorney and police officers are seeking judgment on the pleadings in litigation asserting that they conducted warrantless raids of businesses selling vape products last April, raids which those proprietors contend were illegal and contradictory to state laws currently on the books.

Mayor Matt Tuerks office said the recent firing of the three city employees was based on a recommendation after an 18-month-long outside investigation.

ALLENTOWN – Counsel for the City of Reading, its Chief of Police and two of its officers have denied allegations for civil rights violations, defamation and malicious prosecution, lodged by an evangelical Christian, who protested the City’s first-ever Pride March & Rally and was then arrested for disorderly conduct.

PHILADELPHIA – Lower Frederick Township, its Chief of Police and one of its officers have denied committing discrimination, retaliation and witness intimidation against a Gilbertsville man, who claimed he was terminated from his role at the Internal Revenue Service due to the defendants’ actions.
