The Storm Water Quality Division hosts cleanups in honor of Earth Month with nearly 600 volunteers participating.

People pick out plants at a plant giveaway by the Manoa Branch of The Outdoor Circle and Malama Manoa, which gave away over 30 varieties of trees and plants, amounting to more than 1,000 plants. Experts were also on hand to answer questions.

The event is hosted every two years by the Mānoa Outdoor Circle.

Organizers hope to host the 1,000-tree giveaway event sometime in November 2022.

Mālama Mānoa partnered with the UH Mānoa Department of Urban and Regional Planning students to facilitate the virtual Confabulous summit via Zoom.
