ESSEX -- In a press release dated Dec. 17, the Essex Police Department (EPD) reported that it charged two men in connection with a burglary said to have taken place in a Pearl Street residence in late November. EPD says that officers were called to the home around 1:10 a.m. Nov. 21 for the reported crime. Police were told that one of the residents had woken up to find two individuals inside her bedroom.
