Three Laughing Boys gangsters from Hanover Park convicted for murder, and a man who hid guns for them were handed heavy sentences in the Pollsmoor Circuit Court on Friday.

The three Laughing Boys gangsters, and a man who stashed guns for them, drew heavily on their drug addiction and difficult background in Hanover Park in asking for mercy ahead of sentencing, but the prosecutor was having none of it.

Four out of seven people were convicted of a string of murders and attempted murders in Hanover Park and sentencing proceedings begin on Wednesday for the men who already have long criminal records.

They may be called the Laughing Boys, but when these Hanover Park gangsters pull out a gun, there is no laughing, just panicked screaming and running away.
