A judge ruled H-Bar violated a temporary injunction by staying open after 2 a.m. on four occasions and found the owners in contempt. They must pay $500 for each of the four violations.

The city of Iowa City has reached a temporary agreement with the owners of the H-Bar following increased serious incidents and calls for service. Compliance is effective immediately.
