MUZAFFARGARH: Hoarders are selling DAP fertiliser bags at higher rates in the district, Dawn has learnt. Farmers said this is the time when they needed the fertilizers the most as it was the peak sowing season of wheat crop. Shopkeepers said hoarders had stocked the fertilizers and there was no DAP on the market. Some shopkeepers were, however, making the most of the shortage of the DAP and were selling it for Rs5,000 instead of the official rate of Rs4,000 per bag. Agriculture officials sa...
