Sheridan County commissioners awarded the bid Tuesday for construction of additional parking at the Sheridan County Airport. Airport Manager John Stopka brought the application before the commission and explained what the grant is and how it can be used. Stopka said the funds from the grant will be used for general use for operations, debt service, and personnel. The amount of the grant is for just over $1 million.

Sheridan County’s Commissioners approved a lease agreement between the county and Dynamix Energy Corporation for a tract of land in the Airport Business Park. Airport Manager John Stopka explained what the lease will allow the company to do at the business park. Stopka said the initial rental fee will be roughly $5,200 annually for the first five years, then increase based on the Wyoming Cost of Living Index afterwards.
