Manship Media News Today

LAFAYETTE - The CEO of Acadian Ambulance Services, Richard Zuschlag, passed away after his fight with cancer came to an end. He was 76.

Another member of the Manship family is moving into the top role at WBRZ.

There are exciting similarities to Rocky Daboval’s first day at WBRZ and today: An industry on the cusp of change, a locally-owned television station innovating and leading the future, and a lot of life to live in the years ahead. Only tomorrow won’t be the same as the tomorrow in the late 1970s - Daboval, the station’s general manager, will move into retirement.

Jeff Smith, an account executive in WBRZ’s sales department, retired Thursday (March 31). Commercial production director Ed Ball will retire in April.
