Following the fall of Plano’s oldest tree last week, the city of Plano has launched plans to memorialize the historic bur oak of Bob Woodruff Park.

The Quadricentennial Bur Oak, located in Plano’s Bob Woodruff Park, was around before the U.S. Constitution was signed in 1787, arborists say.
