The program provides each entrepreneur with a six-week training curriculum, mentorship from BASF’s technical team and extended network, BASF lab access, a $10,000 non-dilutive stipend and exposure to CPG investors.

In the background of rising global demand for bio-based and biodegradable surfactants, BASF has plans to expand its alkyl polyglucosides production capacity at two of its sites in Bangpakong, Thailand, and Cincinnati, Ohio. With this move, the company aims to strengthen its presence in Asia-Pacific and North America.

BASF is expanding its production capacity for alkyl polyglucosides (APGs), surfactant ingredients for use in a range of personal care products including shampoos, bubble baths, mouthwashes and more.

This investment will strengthen the production footprint in the United States and allow BASF to continue supporting the growth of its North American APG customers with local supply points and reduced cross-regional volume flows.
