At a meeting of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences on Dec. 6, 2022, the following tribute to the life and service of the late Cornelius Searle Hurlbut, Jr., was spread upon the permanent records of the Faculty.

Each year, a select pool of experts from the information security community sets hours (and hours) aside to review hundreds of entries received for the SC Trust and Excellence Awards that recognized products, services and leadership across the industry. And each year, that number seems to grow – this year hitting 800, which is a 20% increase from last year.
