Police have been left baffled after theives stole an Egyptian-style mummy figurine from a pub in Whitby - and the landlady has pleaded for its return, saying she's had it for five years

A sculpture of an Egyptian-style mummy (pictured) has been swiped from a watering hole in Whitby, north Yorkshire - and police have issued CCTV of the theft in a bid to track down two people.

Maria Limbert put out the prop at The Endeavour pub in Whitby for the town's biannual Goth Weekend.
