After years of delay, the Carmel Valley Community Park turf replacement project appears finally ready to begin this fall.

The Pacific Highlands Recreation Group held a retrospective May 2 on their four-year-old Pacific Highlands Ranch Community Park, including an afternoon park walk-through.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito, Casa De Amistad, La Colonia Community Foundation, and the Solana Beach Civic and Historical Society are among the group of nonprofits that will receive Community Grant Awards from the city of Solana Beach this year.
