Virginia Opera partners with The Virginia Arts Festival to debut Leonard Bernstein’s "Trouble in Tahiti," Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8 at the Bank Street Stage in Norfolk. The jazzy, one-act opera is set in 1950s suburbia and follows a young married couple struggling to prioritize their relationship among life's daily demands.

The Virginia Opera 2021 season includes a masterclass series, live performances of "Trouble in Tahiti," and a virtual Spring Gala.
