Today the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office officially published a series of 35 newly granted utility patents for Apple Inc. In this particular report we briefly cover an architecture for fail operations in future autonomous vehicles using sensor pods. And as always, we wrap up this weeks granted patent report with our traditional listing of the remaining granted patents that were issued to Apple this week.

Apple began their entry into robotics with their first-gen salvaging machine named Liam in 2016 followed by their second-gen robot named Daisy introduced in 2018. Apple won a patent for the Daisy robot in 2021. Today the US Patent & Trademark Office published a patent application from Apple that relates to their possible expansion into robotic systems for boats, drones, spacecraft, warehouse transportation systems and more
