CLARK COUNTY — Jamey Noel has been ordered not to dispose of several pieces of property as well as firearms, jewelry and clothing pending a preliminary injunction hearing.

JEFFERSONVILLE — Clark County Deputy Auditor Jessica Huffman, who is allegedly associated with former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel, is no longer employed at the auditors office.

Text messages showed a relationship between Noel and Jessica Huffman, and conversations about the ongoing investigation.

Noel, former Clark County sheriff, is facing 25 felonies. His wife is facing 10.

Noel's situation has also prompted an Indiana legislator to try and change state law dealing with public access to fire and EMS finances.
