If all goes well for companies working with the Atlantic County Economic Alliance, there will soon be hotels, youth sporting facilities and a bustling cargo operation in and around Atlantic City International Airport.

Officials will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday morning for the second building in the National Aerospace Research and Technology Park in Egg Harbor Township.

The Atlantic County Board of Commissioners is expected to introduce a $2.38 million bond ordinance at its meeting Tuesday to fund the second building at the National Aerospace Research and Technology Park in Egg Harbor Township.

Military, commercial, academic and government aviation technologies will be evaluated in New Jersey and Delaware.
