Action had been good for trout until late last week, but then some nasty weather took over and anglers are looking toward smaller tributaries and creeks until conditions start to clear up.

Despite marginal conditions, steelhead are hitting well in the Niagara and tributaries.

With low flows due to lack of snow melt, look for pockets and pools for hiding steelhead.
