Campaign office in virginia. authorities came out today and preliminarily quoted -- called it a, quote, case of random gunfire. richmond police say the bullet was fired in the air and struck the window in a downward direction landing on a floor a foot from the window. the round struck with enough force to break the window pane but didnt penetrate the window blind. we dont know if it was directed at eric cantors office or whether it was random gunfire. hard to know. there are a lot of facts here ...
