A group of South Elgin High School students learned some powerful lessons about the humanity behind the history of the Holocaust thanks to a play written by a 1966 Elgin High School graduate.

The Seigle Foundation recently announced the award of $142,500 in grants to the five local housing-related organizations.

The Seigle Foundation recently announced the award of $193,000 in grants to the eight local organizations.

On March 15, the Seigle Foundation announced the awarding $175,000 in grants to the following organizations: Childrens Theatre of Elgin, Elgin Art Showcase, Elgin Master Chorale, Elgin Symphony Orchestra, Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra, Hamilton Wings, and Side Street Theatre.

Seigle Foundation recently awarded $160,000 in grants to seven local nonprofits. "We are thrilled with the number and quality of applications received," Mark Seigle stated. "More importantly, we are so impressed and grateful for the brilliant role these agencies play in our local communities."
